A whole book. Fifteen minutes. Zero fluff.

Zehn is the Group's reading app. Honest, well-paced fifteen-minute summaries of important non-fiction — paired with a chatbot that knows the book and will argue with you about it.

What Zehn is, in plain language.
Zehn is for people who would rather read books than scrolls. Each title condensed to a fifteen-minute essay by a working editor — no automatic summaries, no padding.

The Group is, by an order of magnitude, the least obvious investor in a literary app. We came to it because the founder's daughter complained that the existing summary apps either lied about the book or stretched a thirty-page idea over a hundred and twenty bullet points. Zehn now has over 110 titles and a working chatbot trained on each.

How it works
How a book becomes a Zehn.
Three things, sequentially. No automation between them.
01.

Pick a book.

Browse 110+ editorially curated titles, organised by argument. New titles weekly. No bestseller lists, no top-ten round-ups.

02.

Listen fifteen minutes.

Each summary written by a commissioned editor and structured as a single argument with three or four supporting moves. Read or listen.

03.

Argue with Zehn.

A chatbot trained on the book's full text and the principal counter-arguments. Ask it questions. Disagree. It will push back, in writing, on the spot.
